MARINE AND MACHINERY AGENCIES was formed over 40 years ago as a Specialist
Marine Engineering Company.
The principal activities of the Company are the supply of marine transmissions
which consist of reduction gearboxes, controllable pitch and fixed pitch
propellers, azimuth z-drive units and surface piercing propellers, steering
systems and engine controls (push pull, pneumatic, hydraulic and
electrical/electronic).
The Company has the capability to design and build steering systems and engine
control systems with logic functions and integrated shaft brakes for both new
installations, upgrades or refits.
On-site work is carried out employing trained engineers and the Company also
maintains stocks of spare parts to enhance the service offered following sales
of the principal products.
Products supplied by the company can be found in tugs, workboats, fishing
vessels, ferries, supply boats, patrol boats, leisure craft and in naval support
and military role vessels.
