Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system from Corrosion & Water-Control (CWC) which utilizes the principal of shifting the natural potential of metals, protects your ship durably and effectively against corrosion. This ICCP system provides the ships with all-round protection, including the protection for the propulsion and rudder systems.
The ICCP system offers many additional benefits compared with sacrificial anodes, such as far cheaper to operate in the long term, almost maintenance free and long lifetime (25 years). Corrosion & Water-Control (CWC) deliver and design not only complete ICCP systems but also sacrifial anodes and all spare parts according to your specifications.
Windmill Protection
The highly sophisticated environmentally friendly ICCP system can effectively protect steel windmills from corrosion problems for decades, the specially made ICCP Anode gives constant protection for the windmills for more than 25 year lifetime without releasing any material into the environment.
ICAF/MGPS for Box coolers/ Seawater Intakes
Box coolers are always potential fouling victims. Barnacles, mussels, algae and other types of shellfish grow on the box cooler and thus affect its heat transfer function. Ships operating in coastal water run the greatest risk. The Impressed Current Anti-Fouling (ICAF) system/Marine Growth Protection System (MGPS) is guaranteed to effectively prevent this kind of fouling.
Seawater intake pipe-work systems always suffer the problems of fouling. The copper anodes of our ICAF/MGPS system mounted in the sea chest or strainer are connected to the Power Unit - this power unit has a complete set of controlling functions and guarantees the amount of dissolved copper as required into the seawater is minimum.
As an expert in the protection of box coolers and seawater intake cooling systems for decades, we can assure you of the long term perfect functioning of the system. All data can be downloaded to an external computer and transferred by Internet for checking. System adjustments can also be easily made via the same procedure by uploading.
