Kobelt manufacture three different helm pumps, all of which incorporate lock valves, filler plugs and interconnecting plugs for multi-station applications. An external adjusting screw, facing the operator, can be turned with a screwdriver to increase or decrease the delivery of our helm pumps.

This system is designed for workboats up to 80 ft and pleasure boats up to 120 ft in length. The full power follow-up valve and servo incorporated into the existing cylinder eliminates the need for any steering linkage. The helmsman can operate the rudder effortlessly and with complete control.

These electronic helms are equipped with potentiometers to give complete control over the rudder which is absolutely proportional to either shaft or handle movement.

This basic unit provides the same function on a marine craft as power steering does on a car. In conjunction with a hydraulic power source this unit provides fingertip control over the rudder.
