SAFETY PUMP
The ESP Pump should not be confused with normal bilge pumps, the ESP pump is a “Life Saving Pump”.
The ESP pump is designed to be mounted directly on your propeller shaft without the need to disconnect or remove the propeller shaft. Both the pump impeller and housing are in two parts, which makes the installation of the pump very easy.
As soon as the propeller shaft is turning, the ESP pump is ready to pump. Should you have an accident and have a sudden ingress of water the ESP pump will start pumping without the need of any crews attention.
The ESP pump is designed to run dry without damage, when running dry it acts as an extractor fan ventilating the engine compartment.
Ericson Safety Pump comes in different models suitable for shafts from 25 mm up to 180 mm in diameter.
