Veth-Compact-Jet
The Veth-Compact-Jet is a thruster, meant for
propulsion, but can also be used as a bow thruster.
Applications
An important advantage is that the Compact-Jet is very appropriate for shallow
draught conditions. And as there are no protruding parts underneath the vessel,
this thruster is also very suitable to make flat-bottom crafts, such as barges,
self propelled.
When the requirements for a low sound level are very important, as for example
in passenger vessels, the Compact-Jet can also be used as a bow thruster. Thanks
to it's double construction, the sound level is limited to a minimum.

Veth tunnel
thruster
For ships requiring maximum transverse force,
the Veth tunnel thruster has repeatedly proved to be the best choice.
The Veth tunnel thruster consists of a tail-end with a vertically mounted NiAlBz
propeller with built-in reduction. For this product too, the up-to-date design
guarantees maximum operational reliability.
Besides the fixed pitch tunnel thrusters also controllable pitch units can be
delivered on request. The blades are changed in pitch hydraulically.

Steering Grid
The Veth Steering Grid is the most recent addition to the Veth product line. It
is a 360° rotating bow thruster with a thought through construction.
The Veth Steering Grid has an innovative mechanical design, in which many
successful parts of the Veth Bow Thruster have been used such as the steering
worm wheel and main gearing. The easy to build in unit takes a limited amount of
space. Thanks to the hydro-dynamically optimised unit the Veth Steering Grid is
very effective and can be delivered in a range from 300 to 650 hp.

Ballast pump
Pump a maximum capacity of water with a minimum of input power!
This is possible with the Veth ballast pump.
This pump, developed by VETH's own technical department, requires an absolute
minimum of pipework. Another advantage is that it can be used in two rotational
directions. There is, therefore, no requirement for the pump to be connected to
a suction- or pression box.
Solid, robust and compact. These are the qualities you can expect from Veth
Propulsion products and these qualities are applied to the VETH-BALLAST-PUMP.
