Thrusters have become an essential addition for manoeuvring today's maritime vessels. To provide thrust in all directions we supply GME-branded thrusters suitable for Yachts and Commercial Vessels in three different models:
Tunnel thrusters
A bow thruster or stern thruster that has been welded in transverse direction of the hull, available in steel, FRP and aluminium.
Retractable thrusters
A tunnel thruster that can be retracted in the hull. At service the thruster slides out of the hull to provide its thrust.
Azimuth thrustersA 360 degrees rotatable thruster that is often used for main propulsion.
